I’m a 27-year-old PhD candidate who’s always been in love with the world around me. Holocene is a reflection of the philosophies that I live by: that people are fundamentally kind, that life is meant to be shared, and that joy and love are everywhere to be found, even when times are hard.

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and right from the start I’ve loved to make fantasy worlds and stories. Holocene, Han, and Leigh have been with me since the beginning, though under different names. This little story and universe I’ve slowly built is what I always come back to to remind myself of what it is I find so amazing about being alive, and where I find the strength to keep going. Like stated in the introduction of this website, Holocene is a love story, in every meaning of the word.
